Thread: What effect does sex addiction have on the family? Discuss clinical recommendations for the treatment of the spouse and family of sex addicts. Thread: In No Stones, Marnie Ferree talks about unhealthy families and how trauma in childhood affects an individual in adulthood. Discuss at least two characteristics of unhealthy families as defined by Ferree and what long-term effects the characteristics can have on individuals as adults. Support your findings with examples from current news or our course materials. In addition, you may include a personal experience if it is relevant to the discussion.
