BIBL 365 Praying with Paul Assignments

The student will complete two Praying with Paul Assignments that allows for an exploration of the micro-reading process in its engagement with two of Paul’s thirteen letters to the New Testament churches. Questions prompt for analysis and some investigation of the historical background and spiritual climate that served as the context for the writing of the Pauline Epistles. Focusing on discerning the spiritual needs prevalent in the early churches, and how Paul’s prayers were modeled in a way to address such needs, there is finally application of select conclusions in personal prayers. Consulting the relevant course texts, the student will answer questions about their readings, submitting them in a required template.
