For this assignment, you will examine literature related to the topic you selected for the Literature Review: Topic Submission assignment.

You will develop a presentation identifying general trends in elementary social studies education associated with a set of articles in the content area. You will study the latest trends and issues related to your selected topic and compile your findings into a PowerPoint presentation of at least ten slides.

For these assignments, the candidate will select a topic in the general area of social studies instruction in elementary grade education and examine accompanying literature related to that topic to identify the latest trends and issues. Ultimately, these results will be put into a PowerPoint presentation of 10–20 slides to identify these trends in elementary social studies education associated with a set of identified articles in the literature.
